Heber. Every time I go on that ride, im always at peace with myself and my scooter. There is nothing better that can center ones soul than that ride.
The club met at the coolest gas station on earth: Crest gas station in Provo. As we gathered, one scooterist had alreadyhad quite an adventure getting there! Being one of the coolest bees, Nick Passey was stung by an actual bee! (they are jealous that we are cooler than them.) After pulling out the stinger like a man, the bee set off to Heber. The ride was a bit warm, but cool spots in the canyon made for a soothing experience. We all had a great time going fast (and slow) through the tunnel, around corners, and over crazy awesome scenery.
As we landed in Heber, we were met with a warm summer glow and a small city that was one of very few true american cities. We parked at the Dairy Keen and munched down on some ol’ fashioned burgers and chatted about recent scooter events. As we laughed and shared stories, you could feel the friendships form and grow. As we left Heber, northern bees set out over guardsman pass while the rest went on their way back through Provo canyon. A ride that is always a favorite to all bees!

Last year, the bees scooted out to Payson for some bowling.

Boo Crandall has been in the club since 2001 and nine years later, he is still on his 59′ Vespa tearing it up all over the valley. Boo, this Lifetime Achievement Award is for you!
